Merve Ozdas is a Highly Specialist Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with extensive experience in NHS CAMHS and private practice. She provides evidence based, formulation driven therapy for a wide range of emotional, behavioural and neurodevelopmental presentations. Merve integrates CBT, EMDR, ACT and Compassion Focused Therapy to offer focused and effective treatment tailored to each individual’s needs.

Merve also completes comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessments, including Autism Spectrum assessments and ADHD assessments, and is skilled in translating assessment findings into clear developmentally informed recommendations and treatment plans.

She prioritises safety, clarity and meaningful change, offering a high standard of clinical care that is culturally sensitive and developmentally informed. She is committed to helping individuals and families achieve sustainable improvements in wellbeing through evidence based psychological interventions.

Merve’s focus in therapy is to provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings in a very open manner. She holds an empathetic stance, and acknowledges the importance of context, culture and diversity and how this could further influence how we think and feel about ourselves and interaction with others.

Merve is a fluent Turkish speaking therapist and offers sessions in both English and Turkish and is a member of British Psychological Society (BPS) and, British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).
