Dr Padayatchi is a dedicated, highly experienced GMC registered Consultant Psychiatrist who has worked in the NHS for most of her career.
She qualified in South Africa at the University of Witwatersrand and completed her specialist training in psychiatry in the UK. Dr Padayatchi works in the NHS as a consultant psychiatrist and also in the private sector. She is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
She has a special interest in first episode psychosis, substance misuse, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, Adult ADHD, trauma, OCD and personality disorders.
Dr Padayatchi uses a biopsychosocial model to assess people and treats them holistically, focusing on recovery. Dr Padayatchi uses a combination of treatment options, both pharmacological and psychological which are evidenced based and also draws on her vast experience working in the NHS.
She is a keen cook and loves spending time with family and friends.
