Nada is an Independent Prescribing Pharmacist with extensive experience across community pharmacy, primary care, and mental health services. Having qualified with a First Class Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) degree from Kingston University and completed postgraduate Independent Prescribing training at the University of Reading, Nada has developed a strong clinical background in delivering safe, evidence-based, patient-centred care.
Working within specialist ADHD services, Nada manages the ADHD titration pathway for adults following diagnosis. This includes conducting comprehensive clinical assessments, establishing personalised treatment goals, initiating and optimising medication, and providing ongoing monitoring to ensure treatment remains both safe and effective. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, GPs, and patients, they are committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care that empowers individuals to better understand and manage their ADHD.
Throughout their career, Nada has worked across a wide range of healthcare settings, including community pharmacy, general practice, remote prescribing services, and higher education. This diverse experience has provided extensive expertise in clinical assessment, medicines optimisation, prescribing, and supporting patients with both physical and mental health conditions. Their background in primary care has fostered a holistic approach to healthcare, recognising the close relationship between physical wellbeing, mental health, and quality of life.
Alongside clinical practice, Nada has a passion for education and has worked as a Senior Lecturer and Education and Training Pharmacist, teaching and mentoring trainee pharmacists while developing educational resources for healthcare professionals. They believe that empowering both patients and clinicians through education leads to better health outcomes and safer prescribing.
Known for their approachable, empathetic, and collaborative style, Nada understands that seeking help for mental health concerns can feel daunting. They strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment where patients feel listened to, involved in decisions about their care, and confident in their treatment journey. Their practice is guided by current evidence, national guidelines, and a commitment to providing personalised care that reflects each individual’s goals and circumstances.
Outside of work, Nada enjoys travelling, spending time on the ski slopes whenever possible, and discovering new places and cultures.
