Meet Abi – Your Integrative Psychotherapist at Bluetree Mental Health Clinic
Abi is a psychotherapist and has worked in mental health and the charity sector since 2017. She has integrative training from the North West London Counselling Training Centre and works mostly psychodynamically, bringing in strands of other theories such as transactional analysis, ensuring her approach works for each person she sees. She likes to look at the whole picture of the person coming to therapy and works holistically with what each individual needs. In 2026 Abi is taking part in a cohort completing training in bridging divides and having difficult conversations in an increasingly polarised society, to further her ability to create a safe space to explore difficult issues.
Abi works with 16+ age group and is available to work online and in person.
She has worked with addiction, depression, loneliness, anxiety, managing medical diagnoses, relationship problems, bereavement, rape, sexual trauma, childhood trauma including childhood sexual abuse and intergenerational trauma.
Abi has an interest in men’s issues and breaking down stigma around masculinity and emotion.
Coming from a creative background with a Masters degree in playwriting and a decade of experience working in the arts brings openness to her work in the therapy room and is part of how she provides an empathetic space where you can speak without judgment, build a relationship of trust together and make lasting changes to your life.
Abi is still very creative and enjoys seeing theatre and comedy. She also writes poetry and loves to sing.
