What is Bereavement?

Bereavement is the period after which someone has died. During this time the individual will need begin to adjust their lives to the loss. The death of someone, especially someone with high importance to the individual, may be very hard to adjust to causing the individual high amounts of grief. Although this process is normal after the loss of a loved one sometimes the grief can be too much for an individual to cope with resulting in problems such as the individual becoming withdrawn, angry and can result in further issues such as depression.
