Natalie McIntosh – Cognitive Behavioural Therapist

Natalie is our Bristol based, Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, who specialises in evidence-based treatments and works with all ages. She is also trained in multisystemic therapy, family therapy and BRIEF solution focused therapy.


Natalie works with a range of mental health issues, including social anxiety, depression, panic, phobias, PTSD and OCD. She has gained extensive experience supporting clients struggling with low self-esteem, perfectionism and confidence issues. Natalie draws on her diverse training to deliver an individualised treatment for the client, she believes that there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach in therapy and enjoys the process of developing personalised treatment plans with her clients.


In addition to The Blue Tree Clinic, Natalie also works for a Bristol NHS provider delivering high-intensity cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) for adults experiencing complex mental health issues. Natalie is also part of an innovative trial delivering online family CBT, for young people experiencing anxiety disorders.


Natalie has worked as a Multisystemic Therapist in London, delivering an intensive family therapy, where she worked across all systems impacting the individual, including training staff at school, individual therapy sessions, family sessions and collaboration with the police and social services.


Natalie has two Masters degrees and received a Distinction grade in her Post Graduate degree in Evidence Based Psychological Treatment through the Charlie Waller Institute, where she graduated top of her class. Natalie is a registered member of the BABCP (British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies).
